Pub Crawl
For enjoying a downtown feeling without being in the city centre the Südvorstadt district is the place to be in Leipzig. The main road Karl-Liebknecht Straße “the Karli” is famous for a diversity of bars, restaurants and night clubs which can be reached easily with the tram from the city centre. Our local guide, Johannes Frey, will pick you up after the poster session on May 21st and spend the evening with you leading you through selected bars.
The pub crawl will be at you own expenses. Please, choose the option when registering for the conference if you like to participate. Places are limited to 20 people. For everyone who already registered and could not select the pub crawl, please contact Johannes via e-mail to let him know that you like to join: frey@informatik.uni-leipzig.de.
Conference Dinner
At the evening of the second conference day all LDK 2019 participants are invited to join the conference dinner at the Moritzbastei. The tickets are included in the LDK main conference ticket and can be selected with the registration.
The Moritzbastei is Leipzig’s most famous cultural centre. In the heart of the city, located directly beside the New Gewandhaus and the University, intertwining historical architecture and modern cultural life in all its diversity.
